Grand Bend Home Renovation + Tiny Home

Location

Grand Bend

Project type

Major Reconstruction

Status

Completed

Year

2024

This Grand Bend home renovation was built for big summers. Signature Lux rebuilt the main house from the studs and added a tiny home beside it. Together they sleep a crowd, with seven beds across both buildings.

The main house sits on helical piers, which are big steel screws driven deep into Grand Bend’s sandy ground to keep it level for good. Steel covers the roofs and walls, and spray insulation keeps both buildings comfortable all year.

Inside, heated polished concrete floors, a black and walnut kitchen and floating walnut stairs. Outside, an outdoor kitchen, a hot tub, a wood-burning fireplace and a stone patio make it easy to live outdoors all summer.
