Custom Home in Bright’s Grove

This custom home in Bright’s Grove is a modern beach house built to face Lake Huron. Signature Lux wrapped it in black vertical steel siding that stands up to lake wind and weather and needs very little upkeep.

Deep roof overhangs with warm wood soffits shade the windows and frame the view. Upstairs, a glass-railed balcony runs along the lake side, and the main bedroom opens right onto it. Big sliding doors downstairs lead out to a covered patio.

Inside, the home is bright and simple. A row of high windows lets light pour in over the kitchen and living room. The kitchen has clean white cabinets and a pebble stone backsplash that nods to the beach. A gas fireplace keeps the living room cozy on cool nights.

Out front, floating concrete steps and beach grass gardens give the home a low-maintenance, beachy feel.
